In the summertime you can visit in a distance of 12 km NE the water park «LIMNOUPOLI» with swimming-pools, waterchute for endless games with the water that will give you and your children plenty of joy!! In the Platanias tourist resort, with the amazing beach you will find a lot of restaurants, many bars and clubs very amusing! In distance of 4 km SW from the villa you can find the bigger open shooting range of Greece! Other choices are the White Mountains, the Omalos and the gorge of Samaria, 26 km southern from the villa. From the spring up to the autumn the visitors can pass through the famous gorge of Samaria. This gorge is the biggest in Europe, 18 km long , and the passage someone walks is 14 km. It has been declared to a National Park in order to protect it's rare fauna and flora. During the winter time you can go up in the White Mountains in order to play with the snow which in this time of the year makes the landscape unique. At wider area but also more generally prefecture of Chania they exist a lot of historical sights as Aptera, the castle-prison Jntzentin – the Monastery of Saint Trinity – Fragkokastelo – the Hrysoskalitisa e.c.t. but also tourist as: Elafonisi – the Gramvousa - Mpalos – Palaiochora – Sougia – the lake Kourna e.c.t All in distance of 1 hour roughly |
